Vocabulary Story

               The boy is speaking with a soft Irish lilt. "What? I can't hear you. You have to make your sound audible!"his debate teacher yells at him. This is the fifth time the teacher have to say this. The boy keeps on going, but the teacher still can't hear him. Suddenly the teacher ran to the students and was able to maneuver comfortably and quickly, and hit the student on his head very hard. The other student are all surprised about this revelation. The teacher didn't make discreet remarks or actions, he hit a child! The teacher had just lost his credibility. The red face of the teacher illuminate the whole classroom. The teacher quickly explain that he was just kidding. but he was too late, the boy is already running to the principle, which is his mom.

Marigolds Quick Write p. 140


               When a teenager moves into adult life, he or she faces a lot of fears and conflicts. One of the conflicts and fears is that he or she needs to start to take responsibilities, and that usually causes problems to a teenager. Another conflict is that teenager still wants to be a child, and believes he or she is still a child. This will cause the teenager to do stupid thing and get yelled at because other adults believe he or she is already an adult. Another fear is to take care or yourself. When you are still a child, your parents take care of you. But when you become an adult, you have to take care of yourself. You will hear a lot of people telling you, “You are not a child any more. You are an adult!” And these comments usually cause the pressure of the teenagers.
