Reflection of Term 1

I will try harder on stop talking in class and talking in Chinese this time around. I like the course material- Johnny Tremain". I also like how we use laptops to write things. And I will also study harder for tests so I can get good test grades. I like the video project and the stamp project the best, and writing the "After You Read" the least. I would like to see some fun videos or movie in my english classes. I will also like to see the "Grammar Rocks" videos to help me learn about grammar.

Initiation Quick Write

The main character is a freshman, there is a group in the high school that is very popular. In order to join this group, you will first have to be picked and then you will have to go through a period of time where you do what they say. The main character has been picked and she cannot where make-ups, she could not talk to boys, and people in the group treated them like they are workers. Finally at the last mission, she has to stay in a basement for a few hours and when she gets out she can be in the group. But then she finally realizes she doesn't want to be in the group because she wants to be friends with everyone.
